An Agribusiness Loan Program will be held from 4-6 p.m. Thursday, August 2, 2012 at Grasshoppers Distribution, 1501 Portland Avenue. There is no cost to participate.

Food Processors interested in sourcing ingredients for products from Kentucky farmers should not miss this event. Thanks to generous support from the KY Agricultural Development Board, a newly capitalized $500,000 loan pool has been created to assist small food manufacturing businesses looking to relocate or expand in Portland.

The event will include a brief information session and tour of a number of properties available for sale or lease in the area. Brokers will be on hand to answer property-specific questions.
